Back home

Back from a good but exhausting trip to the ATTD (a diabetes tech conference) in Spain. Long trip back got me home in the wee hours. Coffee got me moving well enough on Monday to tighten up a big matrix piece (the 128 x 196) and deliver it to the Topanga Canyon gallery for their studio tour preview show. This will be he first time any of my larger (bigger than 64 x 64) matrix pieces has been shown and the first time in several years for any matrix work being shown. My work with the matrix has evolved significantly over that time, I am interested in the reactions.

This show will run this Friday (the 6th) through May 23rd, Gallery is open Fridays 2 to 6 pm and weekends noon to 5 pm. Mine will be one of several pieces shown in advance of the tour. The main event on Saturday is the work of Russell Hunziker, a local landscape artist. The opening for both shows is Saturday Night (4 pm to 7 pm).
